Adding an Apple ID to Your Accounts

Add an Apple ID to your accounts so that Xcode can automatically manage your developer program assets for you.

1. In the Xcode Preferences window, click Accounts.
2. In the lower-left corner, click the Add button (+).
3. Select Add Apple ID from the pop-up menu.
4. Enter your Apple ID and password, and click Add.

   

By adding an Apple ID account and assigning your project to a team, you provide Xcode with the credentials to manage your certificates, identifiers, and profiles for you.
